Go Out with a BANG!

Quick tip for the day!

Don't you hate it when your bangs are flat and stuck to your forehead? Well here is your styling tip for the day. Let the hair air dry for a little bit then with the blow dryer, blow dry bangs to the opposite side of which they usually go. You can use a round brush for extra volume and it also helps to help create more of a soft swoop. Then at the very end use your round brush and style to the side you wear them. It makes such a big difference.

Bad Beauty Habits to Break

Picking at Your Zits
A blemish usually lasts five to seven days. The red or dark scar from picking at the blemish can last for weeks or even months.  Bacteria from your face or fingers can inflame blemishes even more, making breakouts worse. When you go to pop or pick think about if you want to have a spot that you have to cover up for only week or so or a few months. A closed bump from a blemish is a lot easier to conceal and less noticeable with makeup than a red, oozy, scabby one. It's your choice!! So if you do pop, apply a spot drying treatment to get into the skin and heal up any remaining infection.
Holding on to Old Makeup
We all know it is hard to part with our favorite "extra" makeup.  But there is a reason to toss it. Makeup past its prime can cause breakouts, not to mention it's unhealthy and can lead to infection. There's a little icon of an open jar with a number next to it on both the packaging and on the product itself. It signals the number of months the product is safe to use after opening, and you should follow those guidelines. For products like pencils, you have a little more leeway, since you sharpen them. But honestly, if you've had it since high school, it's time to part ways. Get rid of mascaras after 6 months, no longer. And lipsticks can hang around for about a year; glosses maybe a little less, but you can smell when gloss turns rancid. Remember, working on your own scientific experiments with your eye cream or makeup is not only a bad idea, it can be dangerous. Any cream or product that you touch with your finger can grow bacteria once the preservatives wear off. It isn't developed to last that long.
Not Drinking Enough Water
There are major benefits to keeping your water bottle filled. When your body is dehydrated you lose water everywhere and everything begins to dry out. Not only do you feel tired and sluggish, but you look worn out, too. The skin needs hydration to look plump, young, and elastic. Fine lines and wrinkles become more obvious when the skin is dry, hollowed areas become more prominent, and irregularities, like cellulite become more obvious. So, it’s really important to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. You will look and feel your BEST if you drink lots of H2O!!!

Over-styling Your Hair
We all know it is tempting to breakout all the hair tools and crank up the heat when we see celebrities with a new do, but the result can be bad (brittle or fried).  To help manage locks: style your hair with your heating tools on low heat. Yes, it may take more time but you are saving your hair. Also, buy more expensive tools. They may be pricey but they last longer and don't damage your hair as much. You can't put a price on your hair. Other ways you can help save your hair is to use a thermo spray when blow drying, curling, and straightening. Also, use a deep conditioner weekly to help restore lost moisture and of course get it trimmed.
Highly recommend It's a 10 hair mask. It works wonders!!

Well that is all the tips I have for now. Hope you have a Fabulous day!!!
